CONTEST: What toy buy ideas do you have?
Everyone loves pretty toe nails so we have started a fun summer pedi contest for you.
The Toy Library has money for new toys & we are looking for input about what toys to buy.

(3) Green Gift Giving
Does your child end up with way too many toys after birthday parties? At your next party consider requesting charitable gifts where everybody (including Earth) wins. Ask party guests to make a monetary contribution to your favourite charity such as the Okotoks Toy Library.
(4) Thank You Jacob Zylstra & Ben Davidson
Jacob Zylstra raised $110 & Ben Davidson raised $140 at their birthday parties by asking for donations instead of presents. Stay tuned to see the new Dukes of Hazard & Star Wars themed toys that have been purchased using their generous donations. (Themes were chosen by the boys – how fun).
(5) Calling all Home Business & Direct Sellers
Now's your chance to get exposure for your business and raise some funds for the Okotoks Toy Library. The Board of Directors will be permitting 12 local businesses to partner with the Toy Libary by allowing each business one month to promote and sell their products or services at the Toy Library. If you're interested, please submit a proposal outlining the following:
- a brief description of your company and products
- how you will promote your involvement with the Toy Library
- how you will encourage sales
- how the Toy Library will benefit
- how much display space you would require (Hint: less is more)
- what, if any, role the Toy Librarian will play
Only one representative per company will be accepted. Please submit your proposals by email or in person to the Toy Library by April 15th.
(6) Summer Memberships
- Summer memberships will be available again this year for only $20.
- Membership is valid for June, July & August.
- Tell a friend about this super affordable way to try out the library.
- A summer membership gift certificate also makes a great gift!
(7) Working Together
We want the Toy Library to be around for awhile, as I'm sure you do! To help make this happen we need to reduce expenditures. We have come up with two ways to do this:
- Ride-on cars (Escalades, Jeeps & Mustang) user fee of $5 per loan (for maintenance expenses)
- Battery fee of $5 with all new memberships & renewals (for purchasing batteries)
